A JOURNEY TO THE CANADIAN ROCKIES

Renowned for its rugged peaks, crystalline lakes, cascading waterfalls, and verdant forests that are home to an array of wildlife. It is also home to several world-famous national parks, which offer visitors countless opportunities for outdoor adventures, from hiking and skiing to kayaking and wildlife watching.

- Day 1 -

Arrive Vancouver, British Columbia. Spend the day touring at your leisure. Overnight in a fabulous hotel.

- Day 2 -

Board the train and enjoy the ride to Kamloops, a charming small town in the interior of British Columbia. Overnight in Kamloops.

- Day 3 -

After breakfast, board the train. Today you will move eastward through mighty mountain passes and view the glaciers of the Canadian Rockies. Overnight in the gorgeous area of Banff.

- Day 4 -

This morning you will board a motorcoach for a sightseeing tour around Banff National Park. Afterwards, enjoy a lake cruise or gondola ride.

- Day 5 -

Spend the day at your leisure enjoying the gorgeous scenery around Banff.

- Day 6 -

Enjoy a half-day tour by motorcoach that provides amazing views of Emerald Lake, Kicking River, and the Spiral Tunnels.  Overnight in Lake Louise. 

- Day 7 -

Spend the day hiking in the mountains or lounge around the hotel area. Whatever you do, take a deep breath and relax.

- Day 8 -

Today you will take a fun tour of Jasper National Park and see the Icefields Parkway.  While on tour, some of the highlights will include Glacier Skywalk, Columbia Icefield, and Bow Lake. The Columbia Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle! Overnight in Jasper.

- Day 9 -

Breakfast at Maligne Canyon teahouse and continue your visit through Jasper National Park, the Canadian Rockies’ largest national park.

- Day 10 -

Board the train and travel from Jasper to the little town of Quesnel. As you ride the tracks, you’ll view the Rocky Mountain Trench, Yellowhead Pass, Moose Lake, and Mount Robson.  Overnight in Quesnel.

- Day 11 -

Your train journey continues southwest toward Whistler. Today enjoy the sweeping views of Fraser Canyon, Cariboo Plateau, and Deep Creek Bridge. Overnight in Whistler.

- Day 12 -

Spend the morning exploring Whistler Village, home of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games. This afternoon you’ll board the train for an exciting journey to Vancouver. En route you will see Brandywine Falls, Cheakamus Canyon, Mount Garibaldi, and more. Overnight in Vancouver.

- Day 13 -

The journey ends in Vancouver, British Columbia.
