When should I expect to receive my travel documents?

You will receive your RLX document pouch approximately 2-3 weeks to departure chock full of destination information, boarding documents and more.

May I make payments on my vacation?

In many cases, payments are easily accommodated. Once we have designed your vacation, we will work through the details with you.

Will I need a passport for my vacation?

This depends on the type of vacation you choose and the location you wish to visit. We will help determine whether a passport and/or visa is required for your bucket list trip. If you do not have appropriate documentation, we will connect you with reputable companies who will help you obtain your passport and/or visas.

How will I get from the airport to my hotel/resort or the cruise ship?

We will provide advice for the best solution depending on the port or location to which you travel. We can easily reserve a private car with chauffeur, arrange cruise line transfers, purchase train tickets or rent a car for you.

What is Travel insurance?

Travel insurance is coverage provided by a policy purchased from a reputable company protecting you from certain financial risks and losses that may occur while traveling. Some of the losses may be minor, like lost luggage. However, experiencing a medical emergency overseas or needing to cancel your vacation at the last minute will be a significant cost and it makes good financial sense to consider purchase of travel insurance.

Do you recommend purchasing travel insurance?

Yes, we always recommend purchasing travel insurance. Since most vacations are a significant financial investment, it is only smart to review and purchase a travel insurance policy that will protect you from certain financial risks and losses while you are traveling.

Does RLX sell travel insurance?

Although we are not an insurance sales company and are not licensed to sell insurance, we work with reputable insurance companies daily and can recommend plans that suits your needs. If you have specific questions regarding the coverage, we provide contact information directly to the insurer.

What should I pack for a cruise voyage that lasts more than 14 days?

We are happy to provide information for much-needed items to take along on your journey as well as tips on what to expect on your cruise. A packing list designed to include clothing pieces as well as important gadgets for the journey will be given to our cruise clients for planning purposes.

What is a World Cruise?

When most people think of cruising, they envision a 7-10 day vacation that delivers the relaxation they are longing for with amazing meals and entertainment. World Cruises are significantly longer in length and are generally 91-240 days in long. These voyages offer a great value for those who wish to see the world without all the headaches that go into planning trips over land.

When should I book my World Cruise?

You should plan to book your world cruise at least 18 months prior to embarkation. This will help ensure you are able to secure the stateroom of your choice and the deck location you most prefer. Many loyal world cruisers book their cruise the minute the itinerary is available for booking. If you have a certain cruise line, itinerary and sail date in mind, please let us know. RLX is notified in advance and can typically book your cruise before the itinerary opens to the public. This is a great advantage to you!

Do you plan 7-Day cruises as well as Repositioning cruises?

Yes, we do! We take the same amount of care in planning your 7-Day cruise vacation as we do in designing a longer cruise voyage. We schedule pre-cruise/post-cruise hotels, arrange transportation to/from airport to cruise pier, recommend shore excursions, offer travel insurance information and plan your roundtrip air.

Do you plan Adventure or Expedition vacations?

Absolutely! The term “adventure” can mean something different depending on the person you ask. Using the information gathered during our consultation, we glean information that will help us make the perfect recommendations for your adventure vacation. We need to know what “adventure” means to you. Regardless of whether you wish to hike the Incan Trail to see Machu Picchu, see the snow monkeys in Japan, jump in 4x4 for a desert safari in United Arab Emirates, board a private jet to continent hop, view the penguins in Antarctica, we can arrange your adventure.

Expedition Voyages are amazing and we design them too. By working with luxury cruise lines, we review and recommend itineraries that match your desires. Expedition cruises tend to be small ship cruising at its finest. Some of the cruise activities may include kayaking and the use of zodiacs or taking a flight by helicopter off the landing pad on the ship.
