Mill Creek House Restaurant in Maui

Hello! Just a quick moment to check in with everyone! I’m on Maui right now and felt the need to send a “shout out” to one particular restaurant for treating me so kindly – The Mill House Restaurant on Maui Tropical Plantation.

This trip I am traveling with a group of fellow travel consultants to two Hawaiian islands – Maui and Oahu. We are visiting lots of hotels, participating in tours and activities and, needless to say, eating way too much! Everyone wants to feed us! But, with that being said there is one place I visited today that I felt did an outstanding job – The Mill House Restaurant at Maui Tropical Plantation in Maui. They really rolled out the carpet for all of us.

First of all the setting is beautiful. Here is a view from where I sat while I dined.

Next, dishes were prepared family style, so we could sample different menu items. The food was so ono! (Ono means good!) The wait staff was extremely attentive. I asked my server for a menu. Since they were preparing special dishes for us, no menu was available for today’s selection. When he returned a few moments later, he presented me with this one. Someone in the office typed it up for me! The food was amazing!

If you plan to go to Maui, please plan to stop at Maui Tropical Plantation and enjoy the activities. There is a zipline, tram tour and shops to grab coffee and tasty goodies to take home. Experience the Mill House. They use the farm-to-table idea and you can see some of the produce they grow on your tour.

I really enjoyed my time at this establishment and will definitely go back when I return to Maui in the near future. I like to document my experiences for my clients and I feel comfortable in recommending this restaurant to all of you.
