How long is a World Cruise?
World cruises vary in length with itineraries lasting 90 – 180 days. Recently there was announcement introducing a voyage of 245 days! Sign me up! I’m ready to go today. I guess you would say that I am “addicted” to cruising.
Why are some world cruise voyages longer than others? Quite simply, sailing routes. Not all itineraries are created equal. Some sail through the Suez Canal while others sail the southern route and skirt the coast of Africa. To see the range in length, click here. You’ll see the great number of world cruise voyages available along with the number of days for each voyage. It is simply amazing! If you click on an itinerary, I’ve given you the ability to see the itinerary too. Looking closely at the itineraries, you’ll notice they either sail through the Suez Canal or dip south and take the route off the cape of Africa.
Imagine cruising to the world’s top destinations to experience the culture and activities each place offers. The excitement of learning more about local life, cuisine and festivals without having to worry about the details of transportation, meals and lodging. While on the world cruise voyage, you’ll have the opportunity to visit some of the world’s most notable cities and UNESCO World Heritage sites, which are on many travelers’ bucket lists. Another great feature of world cruises? Overnight stays! Yes, you’ll be able to participate in the night life activities in some well-known cities around the world.
